Podgorica is the capital city of Montenegro and largest city in the country. Podgorica was formerly called Ribnica, Zeta and Titograd. The city is close to winter centers in the north of the country and resorts in the Adriatic Sea. A dish named after the capital, Podgoricki popeci - an interestingly arranged meal; a piece of cheese or aged kajmak and a piece of prosciutto is wrapped in veal steak, further frying produces an excellent dish of a juicy and rich interior, and a delicious and crunchy exterior. Also, the specialty in Podgorica is the carp. Ethno-style restaurant is based on authentic flavors and blend of Mediterranean and continental cuisine and represents the unity of diversity of Montenegro and different cuisines. A large number of foods are organic in origin, certified by "Monteorganica". It is a national restaurant where dishes are made exclusively of Montenegrin origin. The restaurant offers some of the traditional Montenegrin dishes, such as: a variety of home-made cheeses and prosciutto, marinated and smoked carp, trout and tusks, kachamak, cicvara, roasted kastradina, lambs, roasted lamb, steamed lamb and milk, veal roast, Njeguski stek and Podgoricki popeci. Healthy way of food preparation is done with honeycombe which substitutes sugar,also there is special type of Montenegrin coffe called Cikorija - divka. The spices are also exclusively from the territory of Montenegro.
