Podgorica is the capital city of Montenegro and largest city in the country. Podgorica was formerly called Ribnica, Zeta and Titograd. The city is close to winter centers in the north of the country and resorts in the Adriatic Sea. A dish named after the capital, Podgoricki popeci - an interestingly arranged meal; a piece of cheese or aged kajmak and a piece of prosciutto is wrapped in veal steak, further frying produces an excellent dish of a juicy and rich interior, and a delicious and crunchy exterior. Also, the specialty in Podgorica is the carp. Healthy way of food preparation is done with honeycombe which substitutes sugar,also there is special type of Montenegrin coffe called Cikorija - divka.
