Zadar Organ Festival is a unique project, the first organ festival in the Zadar area and the only festival of its kind in Croatia and the surrounding area.
Beside regular programs of organ concerts you can enjoy combination with other instruments and singers. The festival includes interdisciplinary and multimedia performances with the aim of promoting Zadar, contemporary trends in art, the experience of the organ and art in general, breaking down stereotypes related to the organ and encouraging creative expression. In its layered structure, it integrates the history of Zadar and its development over the centuries.
The project in concept contains innovative research and educational approaches, both towards the organ instrument itself and the repertoire, as well as towards opening the possibility of networking with other artistic expressions. In addition to the high-quality artistic program, the attractiveness of the festival is also contributed by the technical support that will broadcast all the performances in the church premises via video screens. So for the audience who cannot attend the live performances, the concerts will be broadcast via the YouTube channel.
