This unique monastery is located above the Bjelopavlici valley, carved deep and high in the rocks near Nikšić. Ostrog Monastery is the most famous pilgrimage site in Montenegro. Built in the 17th century by Saint Bishop Vasilije of Herzegovina, whose relics are kept in the monastery.
