As an annex of the Travnik Homeland Museum on August 30, 1974. The reconstructed birth house of the Memorial Museum of the Literary Nobel Laureate Ivo Andrić was opened in 2006 with a permanent exhibition about his life and literary work. The permanent exhibition presents the life and literature of Ivo Andrić and consists of Birth room, a room dedicated to the novel Travnik Chronicle, a Photo Library with photographs from the Nobel Prize, Library with an art collection.
The Memorial Museum continuously collects material and exhibits that may be relevant to the life and literature of Ivo Andrić. Every year, literary and cultural programs are organized to remind the public of the most important dates and events from Andrićs life and literary career.
