Treskavica Mountain

Treskavica is a mountain in central Bosnia and Herzegovina, south of Sarajevo. It is located in the municipality of Trnovo. Most of the mountain is located in the Republika Srpska and a smaller western part is located in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina. At 2,088 meters high, Treskavica is the highest mountain in Sarajevo, and only 300 meters smaller than the highest peak in the country. When it is visible and the weather is sunny, visitors can see all the way to Montenegro and the Adriatic Sea.
