This is the only sea carnival in the country, which takes place in the carnival ceremony of Carnival Sunday. The events officially start on Saturday with the grand parade of carnivalists starting at the Red House, which ends at the beach of Chalkida. The same night the "White Night" takes place, where concerts and outdoor parties take place on the city's shopping streets, with shops offering unique offers until late at night.
