Kravica Waterfall is a favorite picnic area in Herzegovina. 3 kilometers downstream from the village of Hrašljani, between the villages of Studenac and Zvirić, the river Trebižat falls from a height of 28 meters, creating a beautiful natural amphitheater 120 meters wide. This natural show has been attracting many nature lovers for years, and in the summer months it offers rest and fun for all lovers of swimming and activities on the river. In spring, this gorgeous mini-Niagara pounds itself into a dramatic, steamy fury. In summer its a more gentle cascade, but the basin offers an idyllic respite from the sweltering heat for hundreds of locals and tourists. Further downstream, kayaks can be hired. Admission tickets include access to two nearby sights: a monastery museum in Humac and the Koćuša waterfall. The falls are a 15-minute walk from a car park thats 4km down a dead-end road which is well signposted from the M6 (Čapljina–Ljubuški). Theres no public transport, but many Mostar group tours combine a stop at the falls.
