The beautiful source of the Oko Skakavice, sometimes called the Savino Eye. The crystal clear water of the spring is really reminiscent of the crystal eye, from which the small mountain river Skakavica originates. The source is located in the Prokletije National Park, Plav municipality, south of the village of Vursanje, at the beginning of the Skakavica River, the distance from Gusinje is almost 10 km. The clear water of Skakavica makes it possible to see even its bottom. The water of the spring is formed by melting snow from the tops of the mountains, so even in summer the water temperature does not rise above 5 degrees on the surface and 4 degrees in depth. If you want to quench your thirst with this water, you need to let it warm a little. Skakavica Waterfall is located on the Grabovica River, which flows into Komarnica, known for its magnificent Nevidio Canyon. The Skakavica waterfall is seventy meters high and is active periodically when the waters of the surrounding rivers swell. Near the waterfall, four resorts were recently built, which contributed to an even greater attendance at the waterfall, thus enabling nature lovers to spend more time near the waterfall.
