Tara Canyon

The canyon of the Tara River, known as the Tears of Europe is 93 km long, and is the second deepest in the world, just behind the Colorado canyon. It reaches a depth of 1300m, and extends in a length of 93 km. This is one of the most beautiful canyons in the world primarily because of the clean, drinking water, vegetation, a large number of endemic species. This canyon is under UNESCO protection.
