The Montenegrin Niagara Falls can be called a small copy of the American one. The Cijevna River springs into the mountains of Prokletije, and then, after a quiet stream, through the valley of Zeta, it flows into the Moraca River and further into Skadar Lake. Cijevna is not a large river, its depth is rarely more than 10 meters. Unlike its famous namesake, the Montenegrin waterfall is much smaller but wide enough, beautiful and fast (especially during floods), it is located in an easily accessible place, which enables almost every tourist to visit it. The waterfall is located near Podgorica on the Cijevna River a few kilometers from its confluence with the Moraca River. An additional tourist attraction to this place is the Niagara Restaurant, which was built right on the riverbank. It is made in a rural style. Here they serve freshly caught fish, from the open terrace of the restaurant you can observe the eruption of the waterfall.
