A lover of music and a musician in turn, Stefano Bottoni is a craftsman, a blacksmith to be exact and the idea of the festival was born in his workshop. Many small ideas have accumulated in his head but one, above all, gave birth to the idea. It is an article that appeared in the local newspaper, dated 30 July 1987, in which he referred to two musicians, with guitar and drums, removed from the Urban Fire Brigade. Stefano Bottoni decided that there could be a city, or at least a period, in which you could play on the street: his Ferrara.
