BOSCO DI PORPORANA

It is cultivated predominantly with poplar poplar that does not fear flooding for long periods. Inside there is an area called Bosco Vecchio, with elms and farnies, in the upper part of the gorge, difficult to reach by the floods, and a New Forest, with white willows and black poplars. A large number of animals are present in the forest, especially birds that find the ideal habitat for nesting. The arid beaches are populated by pioneer species, while in the wetlands there are specimens of Carex.Il forest and the gorge are mainly used from the point of view of didactic and recreational tourism.
