The festival, which takes place in mid-June, combines modern musical directions (reggae, dub, funky, alter rock, electro, indie, acid-jazz, world music ...) with numerous accompanying contents such as literary promotions, debates, film and video projections, club gigs , exhibitions, etc. It is organized in the ambience of the Prince Arsenal.
Arsenal Fest is usually being held by the end of June in the city of Kragujevac, the heart of Šumadija and a former capital of Serbia, most recognizable nowadays for its authentic car industry. Arsenal has proved itself, in just a few years of its existence, as one of the most interesting, most relevant and most perspective open-air summer festivals in Serbia, former Yugoslavia and this part of Europe.
Main stage is placed in ex ammunition fabric from 19th century. The name Garden Stage indicates there is green-space, and DJ Stage is in rustic building where is Titanic: Blood & Steel series shot. Arsenal Fest visitors, with their tickets, will be able to stay in the festival camp! Those who are interested in staying in the traditional Arsenal Rock Camp at the stadium Čika Dača in Kragujevac, can apply by sending an email to arsenalkamp@gmail.com, or if they call +38165 4614379.The price of the camp is 500 dinars for four days. Reservation is necessary! In a secured, marked area, you will have a place for your own tent; and showers, drinking water and toilets will be provided. The camp is on a 15-minute walking distance from the festival.
