Ali - Pashas springs, which represent a real pearl of nature in its untouched form, are the largest karst spring and are located in the Prokletije National Park. At Ali-Pashas springs, water flows from earth over an area of over 300 square meters, yielding 4 cubic meters of water per second throughout the year. The sources are named after Ali-Pasha Sabanagic, a famous 19th-century historical figure. The locals of the area point out that the springs are a symbol of the life of Gusinje. Just 1.5 kilometers from Gusinje, at an altitude of 925 meters, these springs have for centuries been an indispensable part of life in these parts. It is the largest permanent karst spring in Montenegro.
