Long Beach Ulcinj

It's a natural phenomenon. Just five kilometers from Ulcinj, Long Beach is about 13 km long, about 60 m wide on average. Because of its fine sand and size, it is also called "Ulcinj's Copacabana". It stretches from Djerani to Ada Bojana. It is covered with the finest sand and is estimated to accommodate around 150,000 swimmers. The quality of the sand is such that it is attributed to its healing properties - it is rich in minerals, has a beneficial effect on the treatment of rheumatism and other diseases. Long Beach is characterized by a very long shallow seawater belt. In its hinterland, or next to it, in the green of subtropical, Mediterranean and ornamental plants, about 100 meters from the sea, there is a hotel complex with sports fields for tennis, football, basketball, volleyball, handball, etc. Below Cape Djerani, opposite which is the underwater cliff of the same name, at the very beginning of Velika plaza, is the marina "Port Milena". The marina is deeply drawn into the mainland, where countless wooden huts have been built on the water to catch fish (in the traditional way), which the locals called "calimera". Various sports equipment can be rented on the beach. You can: sail, kitesurf, water ski, play football or beach volley.
